Mountain Heritage rapped out 11 hits and took advantage of nine Polk County walks Thursday en route to a 14-4, five-inning win over the Wolverines.

Polk County closed its season with a 4-8 record.

The Wolverines grabbed a 3-0 lead early. Polk scored twice in the first inning and added a run in the second, but that would be the bright spot for Polk as the Cougars answered with two runs in the bottom of the second, three in each of third and fourth innings and six runs in the fifth to end the game.
