Polk baseball marks end of season with banquet, awards

Polk County’s baseball program marked the end of the season Thursday with an awards banquet in the school cafeteria.

The Wolverines won their second straight Western Highlands Conference championship and reached the third round of the state 1A playoffs in an 18-5 season.
