Polk County Middle School’s baseball team recently celebrated the unveiling of their conference championship banner with a celebration in the school cafeteria.
The Wolverines entered the Blue Ridge Middle School Conference tournament as the fifth seed, but defeated No. 4 Bethel, No. 1 Canton and No. 2 Brevard to claim the conference championship.
The 2016 baseball banner will be displayed in the school gymnasium along with Polk Middle’s other division and conference championship banners.
