Groves earns PolkSports.com player of the week honors

Polk County junior baseball player Morgan Groves is the latest PolkSports.com/Bradley Screen Printing player of the week.

Groves pitched a total of eight innings in the Wolverines’ wins last week over Mountain Heritage and Mitchell, earning a win and a save. He also had two hits in the 12-2 win over Mountain Heritage.

Groves plays first base for the Wolverines when not on the mound.
