East Rutherford rapped out 17 hits Tuesday en route to a 20-2 victory over Polk County in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference junior varsity baseball clash at The Bottoms.
East Rutherford improved to 14-3 with the win. Polk County
The Wolverines scored a pair of runs in the fifth inning. Blaine Turner singled and Peyton Hoots walked to open the inning, with Turner stealing third. Piercen Edwards followed with a single, with Hoots moving to third. Philip Teague’s base hit then drove in Hoots with Polk’s final run.
