Kameron Montgomery had one of Polk County's two hits in Tuesday's loss

Brevard built an 11-0 lead Tuesday and went on to claim a 14-1 win over Polk County in junior varsity baseball action in Brevard.

The Blue Devils (6-6) led 4-0 after two innings, then broke open the game with a seven-run third inning.

Polk County (0-12) scored its lone run in the third as Aaron Jackson drilled a two-out triple and scored on a Brevard error on Kameron Montgomery’s grounder.

Jackson and Montgomery had Polk County’s two hits in the game.

The two teams are slated to meet again Friday at 4 p.m. at The Bottoms.
