Big inning powers West Henderson past Polk

West Henderson exploded for 10 runs in the fourth inning Thursday en route to an 11-3 win over Polk County in non-conference baseball action at Polk.

The Falcons (9-4) trailed 3-1 entering the fourth before the big inning carried them to their fifth consecutive win.

J.D. Edwards finished 2-for-5 to lead Polk County (4-11), which travels Friday to face Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference game.
