Hendersonville erupted for 14 runs in the third inning Tuesday, taking a 20-0 win over Polk County’s junior varsity in a game stopped after two and a half innings due to time constraints.
The Wolverines fell to 0-6 with the loss, in which Hendersonville opened a 1-0 lead in the first inning, then added five second-inning runs before the third-inning outburst.
The two teams will meet again Friday in Hendersonville at 4 p.m.
