Alm reaches 100 career victories in wild win over North Henderson

Polk County’s epic 22-12 victory Wednesday over North Henderson was memorable for more than its offensive outburst.

Wolverine head coach Billy Alm notched his 100th career victory in that triumph, reaching the mark early in his 10th season as Polk County’s head coach.

The win moved Alm’s career record to 100-89-1. He is only the second Polk County head coach to reach 100 wins, with longtime skipper Ty Stott the program record holder with 262 victories.

Alm also notched a 14-9 record in 2016 as Polk County’s softball coach.
