Waddell named first-team all-WNC; Hall, Lauer, Lynch earn spots

Polk County's Reagan Waddell

Polk County senior Reagan Waddell has been named a first-team selection on the All-Western North Carolina volleyball squad as chosen by the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Waddell, the Western Highlands Conference player of the year, finished with 1,000 career digs and kills and helped lead the Wolverines to the state 1A semifinals.

Senior Kendall Hall earned second-team all-WNC honors. Hall, a libero, finished with more than 2,000 career digs and led all state 1A players this season in digs.

Juniors Grace Lauer and Ansley Lynch received honorable mention on the squad.
