Polk Middle volleyball snaps skid, routs Hendersonville Middle

Polk County Middle’s volleyball squad rebounded Monday from a pair of tough losses, blowing past Hendersonville Middle in straight sets in a Blue Ridge Middle School Conference match.

The Wolverines (8-3) battled back from losses at Rugby and Apple Valley to cruise to a 25-5, 25-7 victory in their final regular-season home match of the season.

Polk Middle closes its regular season on Wednesday at Flat Rock, with whom the Wolverines began Monday tied for second place in the West Division. Polk Middle can clinch second place in the West and a first-round home playoff game with a win on Wednesday.
