More than 60 area girls took part this week in the Polk County Volleyball Camp, held at Polk County Middle School under the direction of Polk County High head volleyball coach Molly Hill.

Campers spent three days working with Hill and camp staff, with girls from kindergarten through 12th grade taking part in the sessions.

Hill also plans to hold an open gym during the week of July 24 at Polk County Middle School from 8-10 a.m. each day.

High school team tryouts will then be held at PCMS on July 31 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. A lunch break will be taken from 11 a.m. until noon.
